Size guide
Racket shape and weight affect how a racket feels far more than the numbers on the box. Here's a quick primer.
Racket shape
Not sure which shape to start with? Try our Racket Finder for a personalised recommendation based on your skill level and playing style.
Round
Best for: Beginner to intermediate
The most forgiving shape, with the largest sweet spot and best control. A good starting point if you're new to padel.
Teardrop
Best for: Intermediate
A balance of power and control, with the sweet spot positioned slightly higher than a round racket.
Diamond
Best for: Advanced to professional
The most powerful shape, with the sweet spot positioned toward the top of the racket. Less forgiving off-center.
Racket weight
Most padel rackets weigh between 345g and 380g. Lighter rackets (345–360g) are easier to maneuver and put less strain on your arm over a long session. Heavier rackets (365–380g) generate more power but require more control to place shots accurately. Each product page lists the exact weight range for that racket.
Footwear sizing
Our padel shoes are sized in UK sizing and run true to size for most players. If you're between two sizes, or usually wear a wide fit, we'd recommend sizing up half a size for extra comfort during long rallies.
